II. Job Objective
Responsible for overseeing all functions of human resources (HR), its practices, and operations in order to meet the company goals. The person will be tasked with developing strategic planning, people management, implementing new initiatives, organizational design, and change management.
- Strategy • Develop HR policies including but not limited to the following:
o Talent acquisition management including campus or off-campus hiring
o Comprehensive performance management system
o Learning and development
o Compensation, rewards & recognition policy
o Grievance management
o Disciplinary and IR policy
o EHS policy
o POSH
o Benchmarking
• Develop SOPs for HR processes - Talent acquisition • Develop comprehensive recruiting and retention plans that meet the organization’s human capital needs
- Performance Management • Lead the HR department in developing, implementing and updating the process of employee performance evaluation
• Develop processes for downward feedback, 360 degree feedback and any such cutting edge management practices - Learning and Development • Implement competency mapping for different roles
• Design training programs to cater to the gaps - Compensation, rewards & recognition policy • Create policies for employee compensation, rewards and recognition which are in-line with organizational metrics, and other benchmarks
- Grievance management • Establish grievance handling procedures and ensure a safe environment for employees to raise their concerns
- Disciplinary and IR policy • Ensure a fair and reasonable process is implemented to deal with issues of misconduct or performance improvement
- EHS Policy • Ensure that the environment, health and safety standards are maintained at all company sites as per government rules and regulations and industry standards/as guided by client
- POSH • Create awareness within the organization about prevention of sexual harassment policy
• Ensure compliance with POSH Act - Benchmarking • Benchmark salaries and create band wise ranges
• Develop industry benchmarking standards for human capital performance improvement and decision making - Administration • Analyze the effectiveness of HR procedures and tools
- Design thinking • Bring creativity in developing, executing and measuring benefits of polices and process
- Collaboration and management issues
- Communication • Ensure that the business’s values are clearly communicated and understood at all levels of the business e.g. newsletter, web based communication, intranet etc
- Process effectiveness and timeliness Timely and effective closure of HR processes
- Cost controls Ensure minimal cost of acquisition and within budget
Cost controls of admin cost - Learning & development
- Employee Turnover of employees voluntarily leaving the organization as a % of employee base
Work experience as a CHRO Head HR , VP of HR or similar role
Masters in Human Resources Management/ Administration
Relevant Experience Min. years of relevant experience required 15+
Good understanding of labour legislation, EHS , legislation, POSH legislation etc
